Michael's 1969 Chevy C10
Michaels C10 came to us with quite a bit of work done from another shop. We started with the front end suspension, and without saying anything negative, it simply needed some redirection. We started by cutting off all of the previous work on the front suspension (featured in the photos), and cleaning up the frame rails. The frame was an 1 1/2' out of square, so straightening out the passenger side frame rail was in order. We were able to build a frame table out of our 4-post hoist, and fabricated a jig to keep things square. The frame had been boxed, so we cut the boxing plate out of the passenger side frame rail and made a new one. Our customer looked to Rydeman Ranch for the complete bolt in front suspension. After re-welding the new boxing plate on the passenger side, we then pre-fit the Rydeman ranch crossmember and drilled all of the holes.
