Chris's '51 Mercury
This is my personal car that I built. It was brought to me 15 years ago on a Chevelle chassis and there were a lot of issues with the frame install that I had to overcome. The car ended up with Ridetech air suspension, and Strong arm A-arms with Accuair air management. The car came with an Old's 455 and turbo 400 that I quickly replaced with a small block Chevy turbo 350. This car was purpose built to be a daily driver that could tow my wife's vintage camp trailers. In 2017 the car got damaged due to axel baring failure which wrecked the passenger side quarter panel. With the help from Silvercreek Auto body for the paint. I did the fabrication to fix the quarter panel and replaced the 12 bolt Olds' rear end with a quick performance 9 inch Ford rear axel housing and third member (featured in photos).
